'94 passenger door latch
The passenger door wont open from the outside. I took the inner door panel off and found the piece that fell off. For the life of me I cannot see where it goes. I need to hire a small child to fix it because I just cant get my hands inside the door panel. Also the window track seems to make it impossible to take the actual door latch out. I wanted to clean it because it keeps sticking. I have a Haynes manual but it doesnt go into fixing that part of the door handle. I cant really find any good schematics online that show this part of the inner door.
Can anybody offer any tips if they have had this problem?

It might be good to take the window regulator out to get more space for your hands. Undo the bolts on the bottom of the window, then push the window all the way up and duct tape it up. Then remove the window regulator. Door latches are a pain because of the rods that connect for the lock and open mechanisms. Google your model, year and door latch to look for a diagram. You ought to be able to find the window regulator diagram. Removing the regulator is definitely the easiest way to get a hand in there.
Thanks! I will give this a shot on Saturday.
