Understanding Court Cards.
Hello !
I personally have had a rough time interpreting the pages, knights, kings, and queens of the tarot. I try the approach for seeing them as players in the story, but I also feel that they at times bring an energy forth that I find hard to understand, less of a player energy and more of just a concept in general. Ex : Queen of Pentacles reversed: unhealthy attachment to wealth of any sort, willing to do succumb to negative intentions to get it, and manipulating others for it as well.
Mostly, I'm confused as to whether I should be interpreting them as players, or more so just a general concept of the energy they bring forth, reversed or not.
For example, I know the general concept in terms of energies that play out in Majors and Minors, such as the 3 of cups being some sort of celebration, possibly including more than 1 person, maybe a party or just a celebration in general or The Hermit being an internal journey to find truth within one's self, seeking a higher truth or lighting your way through a tough part of your journey to come out on the other side more so with a new perspective about life.
But, when it comes to the court cards, I find it nearly impossible to know what they are trying to tell me, and I've been at the point of just removing them from my deck as it's infuriating when 4 of them show up in a reading all reversed and I don't know whether these are players, blocked energies of the upright meaning, an excess of that energy, or just negative players with shit intentions.
Lol, I hope this makes sense, I apologize if it doesn't, but I'm just hoping someone can give some clarity to me as to how YOU perhaps interpret them in a reading, with and without a spread.
I know tarot is a very intuitive practice, and I try my best, maybe it's just reversals with the court cards that confuse me, but regardless, I'm just plain lost here.
Lol, please help. Thank you !
