Watching from Canada. Fan of both countries versions. Watching season 8 right now. I must say Jason is sort of a new breed of prick Dude has the nastiest things to say in general. It’s a shame they have kept him on so long

Are they in Elsternwick? Cos that Jason is a huge doucebag.
Fire house one right now
He made my blood boil. The most awful human
I ,too, watch from Canada and I watch both AUS and NZ. Jason is very opinionated but then, as a judge for the NZ version I suppose he can be excused. The NZ version of the Block usually also has just nicer 'regular' players than AU. I prefer AU as in the end at least the teams can make an awesome amount of money at auction. The NZ is sad at the end as often the auction just doesn't amount to much.
Like the most recent auction! Imagine busting your butt for ten weeks AND being away from your kids (for the SECOND time!) and coming away with absolutely NOTHING! And it’s not like this hasn’t happened before…I don’t understand why anyone would bother applying?!?
And sometimes nothing at all
Wait until you get to last season and watch Tanya and Vito! Jason is a jerk but he’s got nothing on that couple.
the twins were much worse than Tanya and Vito
couldn't agree more (also in Canada, watching through bittorrent), but if you think he's a class A prick now, just wait until you see him on seasons 9 and 10...he gets WAYYYYYY worse!
edit: I am assuming you are talking about the Judge Jason from the NZ version
Yes I am.
Are you watching Australian Block or Canadian? I don’t think there was a Jason until season 13 here
NZ. We watch au as well but waiting for the latest season to finish. We’re on season 8 of nz
Oh ya the general consensus here in NZ is that he is a bit of an opinionated a-hole that can take a real disliking to a team and run with it (no matter how stunning their room is/was).
He went away for a few seasons then came back again as, I guess, his drama brings in views/ had a book to sell or something.
I think the Aussie team they have now is the best the right amount of attitude, style and bad plastic surgery/cosmetic enhancements lol.
Yeah Neale and crew. Funny that really I listen for Darren’s comments as he is more current. They can get catty about a place. But never as Nasty as Jason. Also with his hate for neutrals and wood. I don’t get that.
What’s the Canadian version called?
We don’t have an equivalent show. We download it to watch
I'm a Canadian and I would be all OVER this if we had our own version...I found the AU version back in like 2012 b y accident and have since seen all seasons of AU and all of NZ as well as House Rules and Reno Rumble (both very similar and also excellent shows)
the entire time I've been watching all I could think was how awesome it would be if we had this series here, or even anything remotely like it
Also enjoyed the renovators.
yeah that wasn't bad, I forgot about that one
My nephew lives in Auckland. He’s the lead singer of These 4 Walls. Just tossing that in.
Just making sure, We are referring to Jason of Jason and Sarah, correct?
nope, he is referring to the JUDGE Jason from the NZ series
Aw Jason of Jason and sarah. Totally thought we were talking about him
