I can't tell you how I feel so I made a poem instead
Love is a feeling best described as indescribable.
If it were an emotion so easily captured, why would there be this many poems describing the same feeling oh so differently?
Love to me is nothing more than a fleeting feeling that can last forever if the time is right;
Or maybe if everything is just so perfectly wrong.
Love is self hatred with a want to do better, no... be better.
Love grabs you and doesn't let go until time eventually breaks the chokehold your emotions have put you in.
You will find every reason to interact with the victim of your love, or you will look for every reason not to.
I wrote you a poem and it was awful.
I'd write you a song if I knew more than 7 chords.
I'd give you the world and the shirt off my back just because I "love" you.
I feel these fleeting feelings, feeling as though they shouldn't flee.
Because damn it, in the time I've known you I've already become attached.
Apologies should be made for the time you've spent having to know me,
but for once I'm not sorry.
