Those Early Months of Monterey
Oh love, your touch
On skin yet foreign
We spoke not at all
With words
Instead in laughs
And interlocked sight
Of roses in flowerbeds
And gulls atop the ocean
Guided like old sailors
By the lighthouse
Beneath the moon
