Web3 vs Blockchain Engineering?

Hi Reddit, I'm currently a project manager at a tech company and while I love my job, I have to admit that I am not the best at it nor do I have interest in growing in this role.

What I do enjoy doing is learning code as a hobby and have minor experience with working on websites and emails through previous roles as a PM. I have been thinking about pursuing this for a while and really want to make the jump. What I've also had a lot of interest in for a while is all things web3 and think this is where I want to niche down in. It's been a bit overwhelming trying to figure out where to start and I've seen so much info but wondering if anyone actually knows what the difference between specializing in web3 dev vs blockchain dev?

As a side note, I've also enjoyed learning about AI. Is there any way I can incorporate this somehow with my interest in web3 or should I keep this as something I'm just interested in?
