All of our outfielders were nominated for the GG award. Although it wasn't a great season it's the start of a turnaround and our defense was fantastic

Daulton nominated for Utility and Right, Alek for Center, David for Left (still counts for AZ), and Christian for First!

All the braves and Mets fans and some dumb dodgers fans are super salty. The only one who has a case over him is Michael Harris. Mets and dodger fans can stop letting their stupid show

Daulton's being nominated for having an OAA (outs above average) of +10, second best in RF according to Statcast.

Juan Soto's being nominated for having an OAA of -15, the worst performance of all RFers this year.

This is what anti-saber metrics looks like in 2022.

Fun fact, according to statcast, Varsho has more OAA than Thomas in CF this year.

My guess is that walker for sure wins, varsho most likely wins at utility, and peralta is 50/50. Alek i dont think wins. I expect 2 GG this year which is sick

If Walker doesn't win it I'm losing faith in this award very quick.

If Walker doesn't win, fuck losing faith. We riot.

Agreed.

If walker doesn't win, it's just proof that this shit is rigged, which will surprise no one

No kidding. I don’t think anyone has a better statistical margin over the competition (in pretty much any metric). He’s easily the most deserving GG winner. Anyone else winning deserves massive outrage.

For those wondering, Varsho and Walker should win their respective positions by OOA. Thomas should lose to Grisham.

Weirdly enough, Peralta SHOULD be the front runner, easily, for his GG. Happ only has 2 OOA (1 in LF, 1 in CF) and Yelich has actually been a negative fielder (-4 OOA this year). So yeah, not just on a rate base, but on a counting basis Peralta deserves it.
