I like this. The “reversal” of meaning at the end fits well and clicks everything together. Very clever and distinct.

This was a fun repetition piece to read! The purpose of the poem was hard to find for awhile but it was fun coming up with an answer of my own. Which writes like that I appreciate the most. My take is a lack of self-confidence is best met with ignorance to help someone exist in that state of mind. Curious on your take of my take, great write either way.

Imposter syndrome! Is where my mind goes with this,  it’s short and simple, it feels like it’s ment to be that way. 
The self implosion, the wish to be and the realisation that you are in fact not.
I can genuinely feel the desire to be someone but the self doubt that keeps your from success.

I like the repetition in your poem. I wonder if you could expand the ideas with a thesaurus, or adding some images to expand on your ideas. However, the “I like to believe” feels almost like a prayer which I enjoyed.

I think the thing I like most about this poem is specifically the capital 'N' in 'Not' both in the last line and the title. Not is capitalized, it's been turned into a proper noun, it has almost been turned into a name. This person defines themselves by the things they aren't, and so that has ironically become who they are. They are simply someone who is 'Not'.

Like this a lot, could consider changing the last line to "a person who likes to believe - I am Not" but it seems like the majority of people like it as is!
