Question on potential careers in regards to sketching

As a senior in the second half of my first semester, I'm beginning to plan for my future. Preferably, I would like to go into a field to do with art, or more specifically, sketching or design. It's difficult to find information regarding careers related to my set of skills, and it would be greatly appreciated if you could give me some related job's with a description of what the job would entail and what degree's I would need to do the job. You can also describe other job's that would be hands on, such as construction, but sketching and design jobs are preferred.
