Does anyone know when tickets go on sale?

I was just looking at the season schedule today and wanted to buy some tickets. Celtics fans here and I have a couple of friends who have moved to NYC. I haven't been to MSG before and want to make sure I don't miss out on grabbing Celtics/Knicks tickets on March 31rst at MSG. Is there a universal date that NBA tickets go on sale?

Thanks!

Just a warning, you are gonna pay close to $200 per ticket for that game. I know that season tickets are on sale, so you can buy tickets from websites like Stubhub, but I'm not sure when single game tickets will be available to purchase from ticketmaster.

I'm hoping I can jump on TicketMaster the day they go on sale and get them at face value. There should be some cheaper if I get them before they sell out, no?

Yeah, the price on ticketmaster will always be cheaper.

thanks, I had just found that. Looks like I could grab 3 for 113 each right now, about as high up as you can get. How bad are those seats? I know in Boston even the seats highest up are still pretty good.

Up high is fine, just make sure you get as close to center court as possible so you can see everything happen. its funny because from that angle you feel like you're watching it on TV, but there's no commentary

The highest up seat really are pretty good at MSG. Definitely worth it for a Knicks-Celtics game.
