The flower and the bee
Like sepals unfolding,
My clothes peeled,
On the floor, on the bed.
/
And I became the flower,
Open and swollen.
Honey ladden.
/
All for the bee,
And I touched his pollen-
Hard but delicate.
/
We rolled and pressed,
And touched and kissed.
Petal to petal, all over,
/
In a symphony of rising pitch,
Until the glass broke,
And I leaked honey and pollen.
