G3 Dome layer 2 only?

Question

I'm trying to help a friend with her protect setup. A G3 Dome camera stopped working a couple of months back and now a guy is making her really uncomfortable so we're trying to fix it. When I look at it from a network perspective I can see it power up PoE+ or Passive 24v both work. But it never pulls DHCP. I've tried multiple switches, verified good cables, etc. I attempted to factory reset but that made no change. I'm looking for ideas. Thanks

I would bring it to your own network and see if it can get an IP address there (to test if the mac-address is somehow blocked/fked in the dhcp server of the router at your friend's house).
Also try another factory reset then.

If it doesn't get an IP on your own network either, it's probably fubar and has to be replaced, hopefully under warranty still?

Thanks for the idea. Same result on my network. Mac address visibility on my UDM pro, no IP.
