It's pretty common in world 301, rich members load the general store with skilling material like this to give noobs free levels. Only costs a couple million gp and it's a lot easier than handing out goodies at the Lumbridge goblins.

It's a weird feeling. I'm 1.1b off of being able to afford what's left of bis for me and I'm just thinking "eh that's only a few weeks of toa"
I think I finally understand why people host clan giveaways and drop parties so easily. Once you have all max gear, your view on money is totally different and you kinda do shit like this just for the fun of it/because it'll make someone still working on their gear progression happy

Yeah aha You get to the point where you have so much wealth that you forget there are actually some players that are still like this wishing they even had 10m, let alone 200m... Which you could just drop on anything without thinking about it anymore

Yeah I do it all the time... at least once a week haha, I go by Xa natos, General Loki, Vampsmules01, GodDionysus and may other names on rs haha, but I drop anywhere from 30mill to 500mill in 301 gen store... easy way to spread the wealth to everyone at once, and I choose items like those which won't crash market

I was doing the rune essence quest where you have to deliver the research package to the guy in Varrock.

I was there in w1 some psycho did a mass dump, at one point there were over 300k uncut sapphires/emeralds people were buying them for 1-7gp and selling them back to the store for free xp… at one point there were 500k big bones

This happens somewhat often, maybe weekly in world 301. I was there messing around probably an hour before you took this screenshot. Rich player dumps a few hundred mil worth of skilling supplies and creates a frenzy for a while.
There were over 100k uncut emeralds and 300k uncut sapphires, plus similar counts of tanned leather. I cut just over 1,000 emeralds for 3 or 4 craft levels and a small profit just buying uncuts, cutting, and reselling.
Guy doing the selling was hanging out and chatting, it was a near maxed account with plenty of boss kc across the board.

on mobile you can do it very very quickily selling lots of 50. It's basically as fast as you can tap.

Welcome back, I see you're posting both on the 2007scape and runescape subreddit. So first I would suggest figuring out which game you want to play because both have a ton of content with advantages and disadvantages to each version.
Second thing, find people to play with, make friends, join a clan chat, etc. The game is a million times more fun with people to play with. Sharing achievements, asking questions, etc.
Third thing, set a small-medium sized goal. With so much content, you're going to be overwhelmed and might quit if you don't latch onto something. This goal could be a specific item, a money making method, a specific quest, etc. Quickly find something you see others doing/wearing/using that you want, and go for it. On the way, you'll learn plenty.

I thought I would continue on on my old account on RS3 that has pretty decent leveled skills ; attack , strength, defense all of those are around 58-63 , woodcutting is 79, range 58 ; my main way to making money was woodcutting obviously , 2mil in bank and several old event items , but RS3 has changed so much I dont think I’ll be able to to understand all the new things . (I left whenever dungeoneering was introduced)
May end up sticking to OSRS sadly

I recently noticed this and started hopping worlds. I made huge loads of money because I just bought stackable items (Runes, arrows, arrowheads).
Idk who sells those in random worlds, probably ironmen?

Doubt ironmem. They shop gives less gp the more stock they have. I’m guessing someone who had a ton of gp gave to the store for a skilling party or to help out noobs.

Ooh true, interesting. But I hopped a lot of low populated worlds and found so much stuff in many of them so idk. Well I'm not complaining its a good money making lol
