Why would a Vulcan worry? That's an emotion.
They'd tell them not to logically conclude that they need to evacuate the planet.

Maybe a Vulcan won a T'Kal N Ket where they asserted that Romulus has no star and therefore, are not a Star Empire. That means the Romulan star logically cannot go supernova.
