whiteoakarmament.comThis is a great value - WOA is amazing. I forgot they had some barrels shorter than 16”

You guys are animals. I put my phone down for 10 minutes and it's gone.
Good on you, I love my WOA barrel.

I wonder why they're using carbine length on this. Most other 13.7/13.9 barrels out there are mid length IIRC

Dude, you are supposed to let me order before posting. By the time I put my kids to bed, OOS on the 13.7" already.

It's a SS match barrel, so expect very good accuracy, but not very amazing barrel life. It's also chonk. Not as chonk as their SPR stuff, but still heavy for a 13.7" barrel. It says 1.75lbs but I bet that's a lie, or is just the barrel.
Anyways this is priced like a discounted BA + Aero handguard + ALG trigger, except it's gonna be way higher quality.
White Oak specializes in high power competition stuff, they are one of the two best for accurate barrels/uppers for competition (along with Compass Lake Engineering). It's odd to see them selling <16" stuff.
Maybe they had 16" barrel blanks that had a defect in the crowning? So they just chopped off an inch, threaded it (so you can P+W), and are scavenging it?
This is definitely a different offering from White Oak, you usually only hear of them for CMP style or service rifle competitions with M16A2 type rifles with White Oak unthreaded barrels.
