needles

Needles in my arm again

You smile and grin

A smile

Sickly

Sweet

Sulfuric

"No I dont mean you any harm"

"Take me, feel no pain, be numb"

"Shush, let me take away your purpose"

"Like you have any choice"

Veins turn black

Eyes become bleak

Tear stained cheeks

13th time this week

I don't know where I should turn

I cannot see where I must go

Do i end it with the gun

Collapse like a dying sun

Implode and corrode

Torn and toiled

Pissed on and soiled

I am no ones son

I scream your name

I scream and shout

I scream till I cannot

I scream till my voice is but a whisper

I scream quiet

I cannot scream aloud

I scream

And

Scream

Without making a sound

I open my bloodshot eyes

Tear stained lies

On your lips

They drip

You smile

Your sickly sweet sulfuric smile

"Well it's been awhile, nice to see you again"

"No need to feel pain, I am here my friend"

I stick you back

into my poisoned vein

Acidic clotted blood

Torn up brains

I succumb to myself again

Back to my old foolish game

Of addiction, turmoil, shame

Happiness feigned

Emotions reigned

A rotten carcass

Eyes crossed, no focus

Blood soaked feet

Callous and meek

Cancerous and cold

Withered and old

Yet so young and fresh

Needles in my arm again

I succumb with a smile and a grin

My sickly sweet sulfuric smile

I say too myself
