First take at poetry: Joy of Simplicity
Upon arriving to the coziest town by the red sea
I couldn't help but acknowledge that there is too much to see
During midnight by the arabian cafe near the bazaar
There lies a small bridge where couples kiss under a fallen star
Below the small bridge is a beach in which it's a joy to sit
Through the jazz playing the sound of wooshing waves is just fit
Up high in the dark sky, stars surround a smiling moon
As it paints the sea with it's beautiful light before it's gone soon
A long story this town is destined to tell
Calm before the storm that isn't meant to kill
Side note: This was made due to how ecstatic I felt doing a solo-trip to dahab, a small town in Egypt by the red sea, and when I say a smiling moon, It WAS actually a smiling moon, wish I could upload the photo but there is no way to.
