Obligatory what course? Even my crappy local muni was gorgeous this week in metro Detroit

Fall golf is amazing until the ball you hit perfectly rolls under a leaf.

I lost my ball on a green last week. Stupid, beautiful fall golf.

Except then I just drop a ball near where I lost it, but in a plush lie/angle, and take no strokes. It's great

Of course. I'm more upset about the lost ball then the scorecard.

I find myself coming home with a lot more balls than I started. Problem is it's usually a massive downgrade in quality. I'm cleaning the bag out of old Kirklands and coming home with twice as many pinnacles

The other person guessed correctly, this is #14 at Hudson Mills Metropark. Photo was taken Sunday and both #13 and #14 were stunning.

Hudson Mills was my home track ages ago. I think by far the best of the metroparks. And that 235 par 3... a bear of a hole.

The cart and tee markers suggest a metropark, I'm disappointed in myself I can't confidently identify which one. My guess is going to be #14 at Hudson Mills.

Edit: Guess I should have been more confident. Looks like me and OP were there on the same day. Here’s a picture I took of this hole looking back from the green https://i.imgur.com/NLDnzfG.jpg

Incredible work, that is correct!

Woohoo! I figured someday I'd recognize one of these photos that gets posted.

It's my absolute favorite course in the area, the back nine is especially great. Looks like we were both there last Sunday.

Congrats! It was my second time playing there. It was quite slow Sunday afternoon but the fall leaves made it ok to take it slow. Definitely the most beautiful fall hole I've ever played.

My home course🥲 graduated from that small town and haven’t had the opportunity to come back since. Miss it.

This was my guess too, fantastic course for the price.

Some company needs to make a mini-leaf blower to put in the bag for situations like this.

I see your ball, it's just to the left of that leaf

I often wonder how much golf addiction is just simply our natural human longing to be outdoors, soaking in the beauty of the natural world.

20%, the rest is chronic masochism.

Beautiful picture but I've already lost 3 balls just looking at it

These fall golf pics y’all posting are legit. I’m playing Saturday and will take some pics.

Time to pack a leaf blower in the bag

We have golf weather almost all year round here in Southern California, but my god you guys have gorgeous looking courses your entire season.

How many golf balls in this picture?

2

Fall golf. Every round feels like stealing something away from winter, the courses can be so beautiful. And then you lose a ball in the fairway because of leaves..... Lol

This is one thing I miss dearly about north central Ohio. As a kid I worked at Mohican State Park and I didn't really appreciate coming over top of a hill and seeing red, orange and yellow for as far as one could see.

Also, fuck those leaves when trying to find your ball.

Beauty. I miss fall in Michigan, was always my favorite time of year.

This is beautiful. I don’t understand the people that want to live in places with no seasons year round. Yea you can golf anytime in florida but ill take mountain/woods golf all day

However I would love to be a snowbird just January and February somewhere warm lol
