Liminha: Fallen, you did so much for the scene, of course you didn't want to lose today, but how are you feeling with all this crowd and the Major happening here in Brazil?
Fallen: Damn, I've been thinking a lot about this moment.
[they then ask the production to increase the microphone's volume].
Fallen: Well guys, I've been thinking a lot about this moment, where I would have the chance to speak with you guys, and the big truth is I wasn't able to memorize any fucking thing, there's no way to know what to say. That's the truth, but these moments have been in my head for quite a while, and I'm going to say one thing: I was only able to see the crowd when I watched the 00nation game today, when I had to wait for our game. And there you don't have your phone, I distracted myself from the game and was able to see your love and energy for everything we do. The people from the back of the crowd, everyone here praying and cheering, each one with their hand to their face, every suffering. Then so, seeing you guys here today, made my life worth it, because it's a life dedicated to CS, it's been 18 years.
I'm particularly very tired guys, that's the big truth, I've been playing for so long. There are moments in which I don't even want to play, because it's too much time doing the same thing, you know? But at the same time, it's my passion, I don't know how to do anything else, the best thing I know to do is play. But at the same time, there's that desire to do other things, I think that you guys must have passed through a similar situation too. It's not a goodbye from me, I'm still going to play a bit, I'm going to change some things for next year. But that time is coming, and I'm very happy to see a new generation of players arriving, the guys from FURIA, 00nation, 9z, you have Brazilians in that team, nqz.
The guys from South America, that suffered a lot with us during our entire path, it's really beautiful to see them playing well. And at some point these people need to get the responsibility that we left, and we didn't leave something easy for them. We were the best team in the world for two years, that's something that, if god wants, will happen again for Brazil, for South America, but for that to happen there's a lot of work. I wanted also to thank the guys at Imperial, who helped me get here.
When I was playing in Liquid, I had everything but at the same time I had nothing, honestly, I was very sad and it was an energy that came from within me to build this again, you know? And we just wanted to get here, that's the truth, and we did it. And so, I want to thank everyone who's here with me, fnx, boltz, fer, vini, chelo, peace, all these guys that helped us get here today, because, I've already won a lot of tournaments, but I didn't win a big CSGO tournament in Brazil, I won't deny that, I wanted a lot for that to have been this one. But after winning so much, it wasn't anymore about winning, I think that's the message for everyone who plays the game, it's really important in our lives to win, lose, evolve, learn, but above all, learn how to connect with people, life's about that; what we do to those around us, to family, to friends, to enemies, how we treat people, and the game is a chance to show that.
When you enter a server to play, you have the chance to impact that person in a positive manner or not, to be impacted well or not, and that's the most important message to pass on, from my 18 years of playing. Use the game to do good things for others, to have good moments, and be careful when using the game as means to escape, people know that sometimes we're a bit depressed, sometimes we're in a bad mood, we get into the game just to pass time. I think that that's part of it, the game is a tool for that, but we also need to look to other things in life.
This moment in the major today is really to celebrate, the whole world is watching the party that you guys make here, the whole world is seeing how Brazilians are passionate and different, continue on with the show that you guys are doing, there are 14 days in the major, let's fill up this place no matter the team. Let's not just honor Brazilian teams, it's also the life of the other guys too, the guys from Cloud9 that won today and many others that you guys like, big Jame saving an AWP, all these guys, it's their life, and you can be sure that you guys here in the crowd make their lives more special.
I'd like to thank my family, my team, Letícia, my eternal companion, we pass through so much together, so much distance, we've been together for 11 years now, but have at the same time been far away from each other for 11 years, it's hard what she goes through. I'm very grateful for what we live together, soon we'll be able to spend more time together, I'll be able to prioritize her more in my life, that time will come. I'd like to also thank my brothers, who have helped me since day one to be here, my mom, my eternal partner, everything they do with me is sensational, without my family I wouldn't be here. My younger brother, Felipe, who was the team's psychologist during this year, if it wasn't for Felipe we wouldn't even be here too, I guarantee that, I had many hard moments this year and Felipe helped a lot, helped the team as well.
Not many people know, but during the RMR, we were 1-2, and Felipe brought up a very important conversation to the team, a similar one he brought up today. So, the work of psychologists in esports is something serious, people think that you only need to play DM and train nades, but the game is here [points to head]. And so I'd like to congratulate my brother, for being the professional who you are, this year I was able to see that with my very own eyes.
That's it guys, I wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart, I know that you guys are very grateful for what I've done, but without you guys I wouldn't be here, and gratitude is something mutual, I love you guys a lot.
