F4F - Therapy and Mommy Issues. Name a Better Combination.

Allow me to paint a picture for you, dear reader, of a character who is young, shy and naïve – and about to be the focal point of a story dedicated to her sexual exploration. Come with me, as we try to further understand who she is, and why submission of all things, speaks to her like nothing else.

Let’s start with some basics, shall we? Who is this character, and why has submission become a core part of who she is?

Well, I’d like you to meet Beth. She’s a go-getter, a woman with ambition – and a genuine want and need to showcase that. Currently in her final year of university, our young heroine is trying to overachieve – and produce the best piece of written work that she absolutely can. It’s a thing with Beth, to overachieve, ever since she was a child. She would always have to be the best. In school, at home with her siblings, in any sports competition. If Beth had a goal in mind, she had to achieve it. There’s no two ways about it. Which meant that traditionally, Beth was always a teachers’ pet. She thrived to serve them, specifically her female teachers, and prove that she was worth something to them. Something more, than anyone else.

But why did she have this innate desire? Easy, it was because of her Mother. See, Beth and her Mom don’t get along. The woman loathes her daughter, and was a crappy parent. She never gave her love, and this was Beth’s way of acting out. A way for her to achieve that love, from someone else. She never got it, but she always tried too. Even Beth herself, didn’t know why she was like this. She just was. Given the nature of her childhood, it was how she was always going to be.

This was exactly what Beth’s campus therapist, Sandra, had picked up on. Beth needed love and care, and she thought of ways to fix her. They tried a lot of therapy, and treatments – but Beth was largely the same. Swallowed by the pit of a lack of Motherly love.

This is what prompted the idea of submission, in Sandra. See, Beth would admit how she felt better whenever her female teachers would compliment her. Praise her. In turn, it made Beth want to do things for them.

Considering too, that Beth was a lesbian – which only made things worse between her and her Mother – making her extremely sexually repressed too. As she harboured a lot of shame over her sexuality, and wants to explore it.

It prompted Sandra to an unorthodox approach.

What if Beth could find a partner, who could provide that love and the sexual side of things? Be with her, and keep her safe. Loved. Protected. It would be two birds, with one stone. This is what led to her suggestion, in their recent session, of Beth meeting with a friend of hers, to discuss this in depth…

Okay, so I hope you liked this basic set up! Essentially, Sandra’s friend (your character) is the suggestion to take Beth on this healing journey, discovering herself through her. I really adore the theme of Motherhood, and exploring that from a sexual angle – as I want to do with Beth. I think it’s so taboo, and so alluring, that there is a lot to explore there. The shame, and guilt, yet such lust for a sexual Mother figure. It’s wrong but… Should it be? These are just some of the themes, I’d want to get into.

I love long form storytelling, and well written walls of text. You can absolutely expect that all from me. I’m also very open to changing this scene, and discussing anything really, just as long as the theme of Motherhood is there.

Anyway, I’ll cut this short, but I’d love to continue talking – if you’re interested!
