every time I run into a problem with my PC I feel like I want to throw up and then immediately regret not backing things up or saving them other places..... and then I do nothing different when it reboots fine/fixes itself

i thought that was only me who had that feeling when their PC crashed or had a serious issue. I feel slightly more normal now. lmao

Same here, then I was confused how I still had player cam, then it switched to non-BSOD cam

Christ, what a jumpscare. My heart sunk, thinking it was me.

Nobody is safe in Brazil, not even your operating system

Pretty sure it was just a gag because degster crashing the other day

It has happened at least once every event I have ever worked. Just be ready with a backup.

Well I guess there is not to much to be done here? A random bluescreen after a three days of streaming. Not sure what they could've done to prevent that. It was also handled pretty well since they switched over to another streaming PC in like 2 seconds and you got visuals again. So pretty much a non-issue. There are certainly shitty technical problems so far, but imo this is not one worth talking about and feels more like people trying to create drama for no reason(no surprises here I guess)

After almost a decade of CSGO events, it's actually impressive how rare BSODs are during tournaments

This just goes to show technology has a long way to go

If robots start taking over we need an emergency “launch CS:GO” safety net

That's what Gaben gets for working at Microsoft

the only good thing about windows is the mouse tracking

By god dude. It was a one second downtime. They pretty much immediately switched to another streaming PC. Its was literally a non-issue and handled perfectly. Stop blowing things out of proportion.

yeah, instead of one crash we could have got 1000

What could ESL have done to not have this happen? They changed the camera to a backup the second it happened.

You're insane if this is some major issue to you, just look at the PGL Major clips back and listen to audio alone

rather a random bsod than have my ears bleed for 2 weeks before... not fixing it on the playoffs stage anyway

Good thing there wasn't a 2 hours long 20 round bo1 because PC crashing is a non-issue.

Stop bitching. You are welcome to not watch the major if such a non-issue bothers you so much.

If I hear one more time PGL major was shit because of technical issues and ESL should've gotten those majors, I'm gonna lose my shit. Lucky for them, it's still the challenger stage, if this continues into legends and playoffs then they're actually fucked.
