What’s the point in upgrading?

Discussion

I have use android for most of my life since smartphones became a thing. One thing that was a given for me was every 2 years I would get a new phone. No matter what. As almost like clock work as soon as the 2nd year rolls around that’s when all the problems start to rise and software becomes crappy compared to the new models. This is the first time ever I’m not going to upgrade.

Apple gets a lot of crap for “releasing the same phone every year”. It’s part of the truth but the truth is the “average” person doesn’t get a new phone every year. They wait until theirs breaks or when they just want a new phone and by that point the new iPhone is a lot better than there current one. I’m planning on upgrading to the 15 pro (or whatever their going to call it) but heck might just wait another year. Who knows.

All I’m trying to get at is Apple is smart and know what their doing. Giving people multiple years of software updates is a major plus in my book.
