Promoting a Dwarf lets you complete the Weekly Core Hunt multiple times in a week

Hey everyone, I found a bug (I think I’m the first to report it) where if you complete the Weekly Core Hunt assignment, then complete a promotion assignment for a dwarf (you don't even need to actually promote the dwarf!), the weekly core hunt can be completed again, allowing you to get more Matrix cores than intended. So far, I have been able to do this for my driller and scout, and I have no reason to think that it wouldn’t work for the other classes. Also, I’m not sure if this works with the Weekly Priority Assignment, as I only did the core hunt. If this does work for the Weekly Priority assignment, please let me know. Happy Core Hunting!

Edit: Added Images for proof, and edited the post to reflect that this is now a known bug, as I was unsure about this when I first wrote this post.
