Multi split question

Hi! I just had a 2 heads multi split system installed for 2 bedrooms. The technician adviced us to keep the fan speed on the higher settings if we care about the longevity of our heat pump. Something about pressure. Is that true, why is that? Also is it bad if I turn only 1 of the 2 heads if only 1 of the bedrooms needs it?
