definitely recommend looking for second hand first. got my porter 30 for $70 and they used it like once, perfect condition.

They have been having a rolling sale for months. Of course it’s the Purple Rain colors and odd sizes. Visit often, use Google Shopping for catching the stuff that comes up on the big online retailers like REI, Backcountry and Campmor and liquidators like Sierra.com.

They are just getting the new Farpoint on the shelves so fat chance there. You might find a first time 20% off deal for giving them your email. Be VERY suspicious of Osprey sites with insane deals. There are always spoof Osprey sites for some reason.

You might find a deal on a used one in the old style where someone is upgrading. I’ve seen some deals on Poshmark but the sellers are so ignorant it’s hard to find out what model or size they have. I have seen some sub $100 offers and you can always make an offer. Some think they gave the Golden Fleece and price it over current retail. Likewise Geartrade.com and eBay. Caveat emptor!

Maybe, but they don’t even really have much by way of inventory lately.

I think the title is self-explanatory.
I am in the market for a new bag (the new FP40), shall I wait for Black friday or just buy it now?

Does Osprey have Black Friday deals?
