Which is better for partying/nightlife? Punta Cana or Cancun?

Some buddies and I are planning on going somewhere for spring break in 2023. We wanna go somewhere super fun and that has a lot of parties in the daytime and night. We basically want a 24 hour party if we so choose. We know both spots are exciting for this kind of thing but we have never been so here I am lol.

Here is some background. We’re a group of American black guys. I feel like that’s an important detail because…obvious. We are looking to spend around $1500 on an all inclusive. Which place would be more fun? Punta Cana or Cancun?
