Do i really have this shit

People keep telling me that i dont have anhedonia cuz its only caused by meds/biological factors and it cant be psychological... as if anhedonia and emotional numbness werent the same thing...

I have OCD induced anhedonia/emotional numbness and when i went to a neurologist she said that there is nothing wrong with my brain but it is in my mind. Like the problem is in my emotional state that keeps the "blah" mood and prevent me for feeling pleasure... my doctor said this is a "defense mechanism" and said that meds arent causing anhedonia on me...
