Can’t receive SMS texts on iPhone

Alright, I’m finally getting close to having my service fully working! I’m using a new (purchased through Visible) iPhone 12 with a physical SIM. I ported from Verizon prepaid and kept my number. Need help with this last piece though.

I was having issues even getting service to activate on my phone. Visible sent me a new SIM and now everything works, except inbound SMS. I can send SMS, I can call, and my data works. But for some reason, I can’t receive them. Visible had me go through the troubleshooting steps (reset network, airplane mode, etc), and now they want me to factory reset my phone before the case can be escalated. Is there anything else that I can try before I do this? Not a huge deal to reset, but just annoying after I already got the phone set up.

Any ideas on what I could try before resorting to the reset?

UPDATE: all of my services are functional now after going back and forth with Visible customer service for a couple of days. If you’re having similar issues, just be patient!
