I love him though- I just was stressed as hell because he would constantly do this and sexualize me

Okay so I didn’t not want him flirting with me because I love him fo death but he does it because he thinks it’s funny

YTA just whyyyyyyy. Confused isn't really a good excuse.

If you didn't want him contacting you or flirting with you did you say that or you could block them...

NTA. I'm going with NTA because you're a literal child and this is a learning experience. It's perfectly normal to want advice. It's perfectly normal for you to be confused about what this kid is doing. I'm old enough to be your mama, so I'm going to say that if you were my daughter, I would tell you to block him and cut off communication as much as possible. You might like the attention for various reasons but it has the potential to do more harm than good in ways you can't even see at 13. Know your worth, honey. You deserve better than this clown and it will find you.

I did it because I needed advice because I still loved him but people took it out of context and spread it around

ESH, but this would benefit from ages to be put in proper perspective. The ex is obvious an AH for their creepy behavior, but I cannot fathom why OP jumped right to sending out screenshots of private conversations before 1) asking the ex to stop and 2) blocking them.

If this helps, I’m turning fourteen in april

That’s actually quite an age gap at your age. I remember when I was 15 I was dating another boy who was also 15. His little brother was 13 and he had a major crush on me. He liked me more than his brother did. But he seemed really young to me. But then my mom got me a tutor because we had just moved there and I had difficulty in one class that was acing. The tutor was in his very early 20s. He was really cute and taught me not only that but playing guitar and listening to music. Then it turned out we went to a picnic and he was there. So we spent that day together. Then the next day my mom told me that he told his mom how much he really liked me but I was obviously too young. This was a very long time ago. Before most people know how many things could go wrong. But he was very nice. Again, a big gap. Good luck

 Sent it for advice and he’s 15 I’m 13

INFO: I feel like there is a lot of context missing here. Who did you send the screenshots to? Why did you send them? Were you talking to friends and trying to explain the situation/ask them advice? Or did you send the screenshots to a bunch of people out of the blue to get back at him?

Did you ever ask him to stop sending you flirty messages? Or indicate to him that they were making you uncomfortable?

Also how old are you? How old are they?

He’s not completely gone…. I have one way left to contact him and o can’t get him out of my head

I’m curious why you even care if you’re the asshole or not. He blocked you. He’s gone. Who cares what his family thinks of you? Who in your real life - whose opinion you care about - is calling you an asshole?

Now you know they’re not actual close friends. Obviously one or more spilled the beans. You have,to be really careful with stuff like that. If you tell one secret, it’s no longer private.

Who did you send the screenshots to? People, huh? Friends? Mutual friends? Your family? His family? If you sent them to close friends because you needed help processing what was happening, that’s different than if you sent them to his parents. Clarify.

Okay so I have been friends with this person for a year until they blocked me. They have been flirting with me so much and then we got together because I really loved them. It turns out a week and around ten hours later they break up with me. Now this isn't some heartbroken story. It's so much more, so after we break up they continue to flirt and sexualize me. This is like even a month after we broke up. Even right after we broke up. I screenshotted the texts they sent me. I didn't screenshot/send the really sexual things they said, but when I was ranting and confused, I sent a couple of people the screenshot. Th

OP has offered the following explanation for why they think they might be the asshole:

 > Thé action i did was sending people screenshots of a text and I feel like an asshole because the entire family hates me now and I got him uninvited to a party.

ESH. They broke your heart but that doesn’t give you the right to air private conversations with other people.
