Don't worry. Your joycons will begin to drift or start disconnecting before you have to worry about that problem.
Can confirm. My left one floats, right one disconnects at creative times.
Sucks. 3 out of 4 of my joycons are screwed. :/
I wish I was just being an asshole, but it's sadly true. That's why Nintendo is suffering a class action lawsuit and has to fix drift for free.
..really? I got a Pro Controller that also floats downward juuuuuust a little. Its never gotten me killed yet, but it makes my characters almost always face south on a rest.
I hope not 😂 I already had to repaire my left joystick
If it's drift or disconnect, Nintendo often pays to fix them, and even pays shipping. (In the USA anyways) So there's some good news! :)
My console is not under warranty anymore and here they ask for it. But yeah my issue was that my right stick couldn't reach the circle in calibration menu but with "destroying" the stick by clicking it ans moving it a lot and then doing a lucky calibration (lucky because I still had the issue a little but I got to do 3 360° in a row) I successed deleting this issue. For now. 😂

Probably. It's asking your hardware to define it's 0/neutral when it's not the manufacturer's 0/neutral. So quite possibly that the system/controller just adds a parameter to the qualibration matrix
Yeah that might be the case. Thanks a lot 😄
