I get this too. The dermatologist told me it was keratosis Polaris. I didn’t really believe that. Does your itch?

It itches on and off, but not constant. It started with just a couple of small spots on my left shin, then expanded up and down. Now my right leg is starting. Not sure if I just keep putting topical cortisone cream on it and hope it goes away or have my doctor take a look 🤷🏻‍♀️

Mine only itches if I got a bad spot but same it wasn’t all the time. It didn’t bother me enough to see anyone else to get a real answer.

That’s what my UC rashes look like, and they also start on my shin. I have mildish left-sided UC.

Wild. My shins and wrists break out in a bad rash whenever I am flaring. My GI, who is an IBD specialist working at a research hospital, brushed it off. She almost acted as if my skin symptoms were entirely psychosomatic. I haven't given it much thought since it hasn't been a big deal for me in a long time since I've been in remission. My shins still get really itchy every now and then.

I remember thinking she was clearly missing something because it seemed too closely linked to my UC symptoms to be a mere coincidence. Don't take this the wrong way, but I'm glad to know it isn't just me. Are you on biologics? I'm trying to remember if the rash came before or after I started taking them. I'm wanting to say before, but I do remember having some weird side effects when I first started on entyvio.

I get this. Be careful, they can get infected via Staphylococcus.

Which is a bacteria basically always on your skin.

Watch out for extra redness and small pus filled blisters.
