Mods I flaired this as an Event. The Event is I have returned

Anyway quick shot of the Moon, honestly not my best work but I'm testing out a ton of new gear and getting used to using my scopes again.

This is a closeup of the Moon's terminator line (the light/dark divide) taken a couple days ago. I always like shooting the Moon when its about 40-75% Full because the shadow contrast in some of these areas is incredible and in some cases allows me to capture secondary detail (like long shadows) from objects which should be too small for my telescope to resolve. No, you can't see the Moon Lander because the Moon is a hologram and doesn't actually exist. For real though, end to end this ball of magnificent desolation is about as wide as NYC to LA and the Lander is like 20ft across lol, you're not going to see it.

8" SCT, but I was playing with a new Canon RP. I use other gear for my deep sky photos and don't do Lunar stuff too often
