Intermediate trumpet?

Hey y'all. I've been playing beginner trumpets for ~5 years now in band and now I'm in the market for a new trumpet. I've been looking at different intermediate trumpets for a bit now and don't really know what to do. I've also seen articles saying that intermediate trumpets are completely worthless and you should either go pro or stay a beginner. I would love to hear what opinions you have on 1. the best intermediate trumpets and 2. if they are even worth it. Thanks!
