Internalized insecurities I have because of comments during middle school and hs

Vent

Acne a huge one like yikes my skin was awful. Still has damage from that dreadful time

Side burns and a fine hairs above my lip ( treating it with laser hair removal currently)

Someone pointed out my gap, and my teeth not being the whitest middle school

Someone also pointed out my dark circles after hs

Pointed out my head shape Pointed out my nose

After these comments I begun to cry everyday and just stare at myself pointing out what others said. I wrote it out in my room and wrote down everything I wanted fixed. I fixated on it. Wrote about teen boys I liked lol. I had alot of interest like dance, guitar, singing, that’s who I always was a creative, I had trouble making friends and I believe it was social anxiety I didn’t get treated sooner at age 14 when the bullying begun. This is where my crying spells begun and deep sadness and loneliness in middle school. So something was off about me mentally idk if the crying at night every night was what created the social anxiety later in hs where I felt I couldn’t feel and connect to others anymore it was exhausting my nervous system creating really bad social anxiety.

I feel that heavy on the acne. Few times in middle school I got irritated enough with it and scratched at it hard and a lot. That ended up leaving a ton of scars. Hope your skin problems get better!

I'm sorry you had to go through that. I understand how people consistently pointing out your flaws can cause severe social anxiety, cause that has happened to me. My social anxiety has gotten so bad that it caused me to stim, due to the bullying I've dealt with and continue to deal with. Crying spells, ance, and feeling like you can't let your guard down around people is a horrible feeling and I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy.

I’m sorry you’re experiencing this. I sure hope they find a cure that prevents these breakouts at puberty. You have acne too? It sucks

I’m sorry you’re in pain what treatments have you tried? I wish I didn’t take oral meds, or antidepressants

I actually haven't tried any medicine. I thought my anxiety wasn't that bad until I got bullied for stimming in public + my momma told me about my ticks. I am going to get anxiety medicine. Nothing really works for my ance except cerave and sunscreen.

Funny thing is when you pull the reverse uno card of insults on them, they surprise pikachu face you and then proceed to have you cancelled by spreading rumors.

HS sucked and middle school was even worse

People do the exact same thing to me. They will act like dickheads towards me, but when I return the same energy they gave me I'm mean and petty.
