Taking an ID photo Tuesday, need advice!

Hey I'm sure some of you have seen by now the "Passport-Makeup" trend on TikTok and was wondering if you guys have any advice or tips

I'm mainly wondering if I should go for a matte base or a shimmery Base with Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter. I prefer the dewy makeup irl but I've never used it in a passport and I'm concerned it'll turn out greasy-looking on camera-- let me know your experience please!

Any other tips/advice is greatly appreciated!! Anything helps-- favorite mascaras, blush placement, eyeliner/lash suggestions, I'll take it all.

PS I'm taking an ID photo, so I won't be able to take multiple pics myself as you would for a passport photo

i agree to go matte. it looks better when photographed.

make sure you test whatever powder you’re using for flashback

try to apply more than usual: more blush, more highlighter, etc.

I wouldn’t go run and get new products just for a photo. You can achieve the same matte base just by putting on more powder. A lot of powder looks terrible in real life but awesome in non-flash photos.

You don’t need to change anything, just put on twice as much lol.
