I'm in the same situation. Look up online Tele psychiatry, I have an appointment on Monday. I have spent most of my life "getting by" just thinking I was scatter brained or a needed to practice more self discipline in order to stay organized. I'm in the military so the idea of seeking treatment was strictly off the table for a long time due to lack of education in the process. My family has always had a running joke as to what I'm going to forget when I leave because ITS ALWAYS SOMETHING. The more responsibility I gain at work, the worse it gets. In the past week I have recieved a phone call from my neighbor because I left for a doctor appointment in my boyfriends car and left my jeep running in the driveway. I can't get anything done at work because I keep getting up from my computer and doing some insignificant thing that doesn't need to be done. Today I forgot or did not hear My boyfriend say his plans to walk the dog. Thought he was missing for and hour...called the sheriffs office
