There was that one fake one, don’t forget!

Ya.

Up until this app we’ve been certain that all video footage is real.

I don’t think a shitty iPhone app is gonna be the downfall of people believing in UFO’s. It’s not like we have any concrete video evidence as of yet anyway.

You don’t need an app to fake UFO’s. And it’s not like every single person using this will go viral. If anything it’ll help people realize bogus ones easier.

Sorta off topic. I got my flatmate lastnight when an "actual" starlink launch passed us. Called her outside and sorta implied it was aliens in a sarcastic way. Watching her joy and amazment was fun but I felt bad and told her the truth at the end. I got punched.

Apparently we still don’t because dots, birds, balloons, and light videos still get upvotes and defended by nut jobs who really want to believe.

Oh, no - how will we ever know the difference between real UFO footage and all those videos of balloons!?!?!

Extraordinary claims require Extraordinary evidence.

Were we really any closer to some sort of truth based on all the videos that get posted here?

Simple approach: don't just believe everything that looks extraordinary. Be critical of everything and you will easily weed out these apps.

The smart thing to do here is when these apps come out, a user should take all possible photos with it and upload it to an image site and have that url shared to this sub and that post stickied so that anyone on here can compare any new submissions.. Any violators should then be banned..

True. But on the bright side wouldn’t this make it somewhat easier to tell what is fake? I’d assume this app has ufo assets that you’d be able to identify fairly easily. So if someone used this and tries to upload a vid to this sub claiming it’s a ufo I’d assume you could go into the app and see if the individual used that prop to make the video. If that makes any sense.

We need a UFO app that will discover genuine alien spacecraft!

Real conclusive evidence will never come from shiny dots in an iPhone video anyway. Let people have some cheap fun throwing bucks out the window, it doesn't matter anyway.

As long as we can identify the types of ufo they have on this app then we will know for certain

The time when a picture is worth a thousand words is long gone.

Because UFOs aren’t real obviously everyone knows that lol - Average joe

As soon as the human hybrids are in control of everything important, the truth will be revealed. If they did it now, we would have a witch hunt for human hybrids.

If I wanted to pollute and even clog information circulation system, I would put my money on apps like mentioned.

With apps like that, generating countless number of fake videos, you can literally bury very few legitimate ones. All in plain sight.

Dude, this app is awesome, I’ve been making clips all day - thanks for sharing.

This is some BS, we will never get closer to the truth with these types of apps. Any real evidence will be disregarded by anyone who’s been pranked by this. 🤦🏽‍♂️
