Why force squad show to earn some shitty event awards?

I mostly play solo or duos, and basically 3 out of 4 squad games I play are filled with quitters and trolls who just want to collect the stuff in the maps and don't care about the rest.

This was less painful during the Miku event when I could do that by myself playing solo.

Forcing me to play squads to see this almost every round is just stupid. Just as stupid and useless as the Halloween event, which I didn't even bother trying to complete.
