New notification shade flash function?

I was catching up on notifications yesterday when I pulled down the shade as normal. I don't think I imagined it, but when I scrolled past a Domino's app notification, it popped up the Domino's logo, almost subliminally, as if to draw attention to it. I wonder if this is a new SDK feature they are giving app developers. (Maybe I was part of an A/B test?) I only saw it once and couldn't reproduce it by going to the notification history.

I'm not all that worried by it, unless every app does it, but I was curious if anyone else had noticed this.

(Of course it could be I was just hankering for 🍕)
