I took my brand new LCRx to the range for the first time today. It was a lot of fun, and the setting sun made for a good pic.

This is the first handgun I’ve ever owned, in addition to a Wrangler. There’s just something about revolvers that I love, and it’s the reason I chose it as my first handgun despite a lot of internet advice against it for a beginner.

I found it pretty accurate and the recoil wasn’t too bad. I actually enjoyed the kick of it.

I carry the hammer shrouded version in each pocket

I have the LCR in .327 Magnum, I was going to trade it for the X, but I just like that double action trigger too much

Well with the LCRX you have both the double action and single action. That’s why I chose it.

How do you like the 327? I heard the ammo is hard to come by and/or expensive.

I've been able to stack reasonably deep, being able to shoot the other. 32 calibers is handy too. There's not as much variety in defensive ammo, but for me the upsides outweigh the costs.
