Still looks like vacuum sealed candy to me, before it was jelly beans, now more like gummy bears.

It doesn’t always inflate. I just did one that didn’t inflate and after 5 days I blended a delicious hot sauce.

So these were prepared on Oct 1st and the bag did not expand at all. When I press the mash it produces bubbles. I think I screwed up the salt ratio. Are these garbage now?

Iv never had this problem before but i would open them and add about fifty percent more liquid "H2o" and no salt. Then reseal and see what happens. Were the peppers fresh and what temp did you have them? Also what was your weight to salt ratio?
Peppers were fresh as I grew them. Salt ratio was 3% but the kitchen scale is not precise so I may have gone a tad over. I’ll open it and do a smell test. If all is good transfer into small mason jar with some h2o and see where it takes me.
Id bet it smells just fine. Good to go...& Good luck...
