This is moreso because our brains like patterns and want to see them in things, which is also the reason for like a ton of opical illusions, etc. Human brains just don't like it if something doesn't make sense.

Sorry for rambling btw. But I am going to look out for this, I think. See if I notice any patterns. The only one I have noticed is that seeing Belphegor shortly after I wake up or go to bed has been somewhat common, but I don't really sleep on any set schedule, so.

Probability is neat overall, though. At least to me. Basically, because there are no repeats in any characters, with true random, you have a full likelihood to get any one of those characters. 1 in 12. But it's just as likely each time you restart, which means that you can also get the same character. To us, that makes the probability seem skewed — true random being annoying, and people not liking or wanting it, is exactly why Spotify doesn't use it anymore.

Like, on a dice roll, right? Say you have one die, a regular six sided one. That's 1 in 6 for any number each time you roll, but when its a physical thing, I kind of think it's easier for the human brain, because you're seeing it. It can still feel weird if you keep rolling low each time, but seeing true random helps us process true random a bit more. When we're not seeing it, it's harder to recognize that equal chance truly means *equal chance,* so technically it's like rolling a die each time you open your game, but also, becau

I got on when I woke up today (11 PM) and was greeted by Belphegor. I'm honestly pretty sure it's random, but like ...full true random, meaning you have an equal chance of getting any of the brothers or the datables, even if you keep getting one in succession. Randomness is like that; that's why Spotify doesn't have a true random shuffle— people really didn't like getting multiple songs from one artist in a row, which is more likely if you have like a ten song playlist, and 6 of those songs are by an artist, from an album, and then the other 5 are random. With true random, the likelihood of getting that artist first is much higher.

That is an interesting observation, though— I'd love if other people contributed regularly and found out if there was any sort of weird commonality w/ time or anything like that.

So I made a discovery. Everyday for the past couple weeks I've been getting on Obey Me at the same time 6.26pm. I have an alarm set for this time so I can get on slightly before the free nightmare summon gets reset daily. And every time I have been greeted by Luke. So I don't think it's random I think it's time based so 🤷 And if this is already something that has been pointed out, I'm sorry I didn't know. And I also know that right around 8am you can be greeted by Barbatos.
