You're right. The ballot literally has initiatives to ban stupid billionaires, hate and violence. Thanks 👍🏽

Idk why I was telling you to google it like your username doesn’t speak for itself lmao

Banning opinion based news would be a good start and no I don't mean just Fox News.

EmberFist•

That is unconstitutional

Can someone please remind me why guillotines were banned from society?

I’ll never understand why poor people are shamed for “promoting violence” by saying stuff like this, when these rich mfs kill people all day and night for profit.

1

You try that and people get all grumpy about "insurrections" and "coups" and "largest threat to our democracy ever".

1

I’m not so sure about that, especially after reading “A Tale of Two Cities”. A revolution like that may start out as, well, revolutionary, but it would soon get corrupted, and innocent people will be killed for things as random as looking at the revolution’s leaders the wrong way. And then even the leaders themselves will end up under the guillotine. And then (if that wasn’t bad enough) historians in the future will discover that some decent people in a position of power/money were executed unfairly because of some nasty rumor. So let’s avoid that mess, shall we?

That being said, it would be nice to hold billionaires and politicians accountable for their actions by you know, taxing them more and putting them in jail for fraud and other crimes.

Greg Abbott from Texas is already commiting human trafficking by shipping asylum seekers from the border to DC in protest of the lack of border security. I'd say that alone deserves some form of criminal punishment

1

Yeah, he definitely deserves jail time, and a good sentence without bond or bail or any of those loopholes.

How shorted sighted. If we jail the billionaires it will create a bottleneck in the trickle down economics.

1

Okay, how about bringing back tar-and-feathering?

It's a network of interconnected problems.

  1. People can get rich by doing terrible things, like making Amazon workers pee in bottles. Solution: have better laws.

  2. Money can be used to pay for politicians. Solution: Overturn Citizens United

  3. Politicians with more money are more likely to be elected. Solution: Public financing of elections/Ranked choice voting

  4. Corrupt politicians have great power that impacts a lot of people, often disproportionately so due to gerrymandering, Senate rules, etc. Solution: Vote out bad politicians.

  5. The general public is increasingly misinformed, unwilling to vote, and disinterested in participating. Solution: ?

Stop what exactly?

Musk being stupid? He is his own person. Let him have his freewill.

Hate and violence? Those are at historic lows.

Life is great.

Vote. But I’m worried this is one lesson we’re determined to have to learn the hard way.

Simple: money = root of all evil. Billionaires and politicians have all the money. A lot of the other people have little to no money. Rich and politicians use misinformation and bullshittery to distract/anger the public for "political support" through social discourse.

Therefore: billionaires and politicians are evil and the US as a whole is fucked.

I say this as a jaded American who has given up on all things political foreign and domestic and who has lost all hope with any "good" happening in my country.

Vote.

When voting doesn't work: Protest.

When protesting doesn't work: Strike.

When strikes don't work: Arson.

When arson doesn't work: [redacted]

I can't type out what you're supposed to do next because you'll end up on some lists, be visited by Feds, etc.

That last one though...that definitely gets some attention and decision-making, no question.

Just saying, y’all have the right to bear arms exactly for the reason of having a citizen’s militia against oppression and tyranny. If you were smart you’d use it.

Start a revolution, kill the elite and their minions. That’s all you got to do.

Protest and vote all you want, it wont change a damn thing.

Billionaires being stupid, hate, violence

Poor grammar aside, at least the few billionaires I know personally are none of these.
