I have been on it for about four or five years, fluctuating between doses of 30-50 mg.. heck, I’ve even abused it before because 50 wasn’t enough. Some days it kicks my ass and other days it’s a real bummer. I’ve never been able to figure out why it works some days more than others. 

I would keep trying, it may just take a couple more tries. Be sure to take notice of anything you’re doing differently, like sleep, how much food/what you ate, water, exercise, etc. all these things have a say in it’s effectiveness

Sounds normal. Every day when it starts to wear off for me, I get the same way. Basically, it's all of the suppressed ADHD stuff from the day just comes surging back

Today was also my first day on Vyvanse for ADD, and I noticed no difference except I had one brief moment of good focus between 2&3 PM. I take 30 mg. What dosage were you prescribed?

My Dr prescribed me Vyvanse for ADHD. I’m 27(m) and was just recently diagnosed. I took it at 7am and I felt pretty mellow all day. Then around 8pm I had a random burst of energy. Is this normal?

All of my other side effects were normal and relatively mild.
