Can pharaoh ants spread via luggage when traveling?

I'm currently staying in a Florida hotel, and I've noticed there are some bugs here. My best guess is pharaoh ants. I've read they can spread rapidly and are split nesters.

I worry I'll accidentally bring some home and have a problem on my hands. Is there anything I can do about it? Or have much should I worry?

I alerted the lobby before I figured out what they were, and they just sprayed them...
