I hate the subs with the "Dont post stuff thats already on the mega thread" As if I want to sift through 500 threads of shit Im not interested in to find out what I need.

Hah! I’m banned from 4 subreddits. Mods can be the absolute worst. Think about it - a job that doesn’t pay, but gives you the ability to decide who can or can’t go here or go there. Of course the majority are doing it for good, but that kind of thing is naturally gonna attract some power tripping folks who think modding Reddit is an actual title.

To illustrate this story, my first ban happened on a major women’s sub because I called MYSELF a dyke in a comment, got temporarily banned for discriminatory language, sent the mods a message saying “hey sorry if I upset anyone but I just wanted to clarify I’m referring to myself, and dyke has been treated as a reclaimed word for a while, so I’m not trying to discriminate anyone. I get why you’d have to filter those out though!”.

I swear to god, the mod that and she felt the need to tell me to take the L or, and I quote, “go die mad about it”. Then permabanned me. Lol!

Oh geez. I can understand if you called someone else that but I think you have the right to call yourself whatever you want.
