ROG strix b550-f doesn't detect Ethernet

when I plug in the ethernet cord, the mobo reads data transfer and 1Gbps/100Mbps/10Mbps, but trying to change my pin due to a new system, doesn't work, because I need an internet connection.

other people who had problems with their b550f boards loaded a new driver onto their board, but I can't do that because I can't access my OS.
