Trying PyperClip

I'm trying to write a very basic code with pyperclip. I can get command prompt to copy a string to my devices clipboard, but can't get it to paste onto anything? This is my first time even using command prompt or even coding outside of pyCharm, so I'm very much a beginner. Anything would help.
