Is Animeals an ok place to adopt from?

I am thinking about adopting a cat and I'm looking at all the shelters. A friend just told me they heard that the cats from Animeals are sick and often die when people adopt from there. Has anyone else heard that? They seem nice because they are a no kill shelter.
