You can also use the aim assist to help a little, this isn't aim automatically but helps to move the sticks. It's barely imperceptible but helps a lot

Did you try to change it on in game settings? There's a sensitivity bar where you can choose between 0-100 sensitivity

I did like the costume stick curve for my right stick. Small movements would be less sensitive and more precise. But changing controllers back to the PS5 took me a moment. Now I just use the in game sensitivity.

The best part are the programmable buttons. Reload, weapon switch, medkit and grenades ready without moving the thumb.
